TXT made their long-awaited comeback with the mini-album The Name Chapter: Temptation on January 27, with the addicting “Sugar Rush Ride” serving as the title track.

Despite not even 24 hours passing since the album was released, it has already been breaking records not only for TXT but for K-Pop groups in general. For example, it sold over 1.87 million copies in first-day sales on Hanteo, the highest for any fourth-generation K-Pop group and only surpassed by BTS.

It also surpassed 3 million streams on MelOn in just nine hours after its release, and “Sugar Rush Ride” debuted at #46 on MelOn 24Hits, the highest peak by a fourth-generation K-Pop boy group.

And that’s certainly not all. Perhaps most impressively, all five tracks from The Name Chapter: Temptation have reached the top 10 of the MelOn Top 100 chart, the first mini-album by ANY K-Pop group to achieve such a feat!

MOAs can’t contain their excitement and pride for TXT’s accomplishments on social media!

Even TXT’s older songs have been trending on MelOn’s charts too!

We can’t wait to see what TXT succeed in this year after such a great start to 2023!
