Most recently, it was reported that Tzuyang had continued to donate to an orphanage in Seoul even until recently.
On July 11, media outlet Kookmin Ilbo held a phone interview with Sangnok Orphanage director Boo Chung Ha.
Tzuyang has been donating 3,150,000 KRW ($~2,284.30 USD) every month since 2019. Even after returning to YouTube from her break, she increased the amount to 4,200,000 KRW ($~3,045.73 USD) monthly and even donated this month.

The director first met Tzuyang in May 2019 after she contacted them about the donation request posted on the orphanage’s website. She revealed that she would like to send 3,150,000 KRW monthly, not as a one-time donation.
She also gathered volunteers to visit the orphanage and spend time with the kids.
She cleaned the orphanage with the volunteers, made spicy rice cakes with the children, and even sent flowers to the children’s school graduation. To thank her, the children even sent her letters when she took a break from YouTube.

As her popularity grew, she could not visit the orphanage as often as before, but she still made time to visit them earlier this year with food and drinks.
However, after hearing the recent news about Tzuyang and her ex-boyfriend, the director could not hide his shock.
“I never imagined something like this was happening because she was always smiling and never showed any signs of distress. I’ve met with many sponsors over the years, but Tzuyang was mature for someone so young, and I learned a lot from her. She said that money earned from the public’s interest couldn’t be used for herself and had to be shared with others.
Everyone at the orphanage is praying and supporting Tzuyang. We hope that everything gets resolved and things get better for her.”

On the other hand, netizens noticed bruises on her arms in almost all her videos wearing short sleeves.
