Uee reveals which girl group’s comeback caught her attention this summer

In an interview with Sports Donga, After School member and actress Uee revealed which girl group that made a comeback this summer caught her attention.

Uee, who recently completed her latest drama High Society, spoke on After School’s future music activities, revealing, “The After School members recently just got together and counted how long we’ve been on hiatus. We’ve been away for more than two years.”

She adds, “But all the members agreed that we shouldn’t rush our comeback with a mediocre song that doesn’t fit us. We can’t disappoint fans who want to see performances similar to our early days. And it’s not only our fans but the members who have left the group and graduated from the team that we have to think about. I want to pursue activities that they won’t be ashamed of.”

With the flood of girl groups making a comeback this summer, she was asked if any of those groups had caught her eyes.

Uee replied, “Of course. AOA are pretty and Wonder Girls sunbae (senior) also made a comeback. I heard that Wonder Girls came back with instruments and dancing to choreography as well. Our team knows how hard that is better than any other team. I can relate to that. As someone who really enjoyed ‘Tell Me’ in the past, Wonder Girls sunbae’s comeback is all that more impressive to me.”
