Upcoming Group’s Visuals Labeled “Ugly” In Viral Post, Sparking Criticism
Earlier this year, Boys II Planet aired, selecting a lineup of male trainees to debut in a brand-new temporary group.
The final line-up was announced to debut as ALPHA DRIVE ONE, featuring eight members, including some familiar to fans from their other pre-debut activities. So far, the group has conducted pre-debut activities, including appearances at award shows and the release of a pre-release track.
The group also attended the 2025 Melon Music Awards, where they walked the red carpet and were photographed by the media.
The group’s visuals at this show were brought up on a post where the quoted tweet prompted “There are idols out there who are so ugly it makes you wonder how on earth they even debuted.”

The group were criticized for their visuals, with some even claiming that the member they believe is handsome is “dragged down” by the others.
