VICTON Members Write Letters To Fans After Their Departure From Their Agency
It was just recently announced that three members of VICTON would leave their agency.
On April 20, IST Entertainment released an official statement that the contracts of Hanse, Byungchan, and Subin expired that day, and they decided not to renew their contracts.
After this statement was released, the three members each posted handwritten letters to their fans on their social media. Byungchan shared that this is not a sad goodbye but the start of a bright future for the VICTON members.
Hello, this is Choi Byungchan of VICTON.
While writing this letter, so many thoughts and emotions came and went as I thought about what to say and how to say it, repeatedly writing and deleting over and over.
Since 2016, I’ve been so happy and loved for seven years.
Because I learned how to receive only love, I learned how to give love to our Alice. Because of that, the time we spent together was so precious and unforgettable. Alice, thank you for loving us for such a long time. I love you. And thank you so much to the staff who were always by our side.Although we’re now walking in our own paths, it’s not a sad goodbye but the start of a new journey, and I will always love and cheer for our VICTON members, who will only continue to grow. And I will return to you soon with good news.

Hello, this is Subin.
I can’t seem to let go of my pen as so many emotions are mixing around while I think of what to write.
For seven years, since November 9, 2016, I have received so much love and joy that not everybody gets to experience in their lifetime. Alice, VICTON, and IST were blessings to me.
Unfortunately, VICTON is taking their own paths, but I’m going to take steps toward happiness with courage. Sometimes, I’m afraid that one day I’ll think, ‘Was it all a dream?’ as I think back on all our memories that seemed like a dream, but I will remember each memory one by one and cherish them for a long time.
I hope it’ll be a good memory for Alice as well and I hope it helps you in any way it can.No matter what anyone says, you guys are the most valuable fans and colleagues to me. I’m sorry that I couldn’t do better and thank you so much for living out my first dream with me. I will always cheer for your happiness, anytime anywhere.

Lastly, Hanse wrote that it was a difficult decision to make but that the “newer Hanse” will soon be presented to the world with a new look.

First of all, I would like to apologize about the sudden news I am about to announce to everyone.
My exclusive contract with IST Entertainment will expire on April 20, 2023. For an extensive amount of time, all the VICTON members had a great amount of conversation with the company. I would like to remind everyone that this was a difficult decision to make amidst respecting each of the member’s opinions.
I have cried and laughed going hand-to hand alongside my dream throughout the nine years we have been together. Most importantly, I have been able to come thus far all thanks to Alice— always faithfully having my back. I realize that I have much more to grow and learn as a humble, lacking human being.
I am infinitely grateful for all the undeserved love that I received.
Although the ‘Victon Hanse’ has not been able to fully pay it off to all those who have shared my dream and youth and brightened up the days, he will retreat a feeble step for a giant leap. I believe that the newer ‘Hanse’, soon to be presented, will live up to the debt to finish paying back the love he owes.It would be highly appreciated if everyone would continue giving attention, love, and support for the new beginning that me and my brothers will be kicking off. I promise that I will not rest to wait upon Victon and ‘our days’ no matter what the change.
