On May 4 (local time), all the members of BLACKPINK attended the 2026 Met Gala.

Yet, while some netizens were excited, the picture got flamed with a wave of viral hate.
In particular, some hit back that it wasn’t as iconic as other years, adding that it was full of “khias” which is a term often used to describe pop singers whose mainstream relevance has lessened over the years.
