A viral video about BLACKPINK Jennie‘s hit song “LIKE JENNIE” linked to Zico has sparked controversy.
Earlier in the year, Jennie released her hit track “LIKE JENNIE.”
One of the individuals who contributed to the song was Zico, who shared a snippet of the original demo back in July during a fan meeting.

Recently, a video of this clip was shared on TikTok along with a clip of Jennie’s final version as shown in the studio.

The video started gaining attention, but it drew criticism from netizens targeting Jennie. Along with the past of Zico, many hit back at the idol for not “writing her raps.”
Yet, netizens defended Jennie, explaining that the video was only of the demo, and while Zico was credited in the track, so was the BLACKPINK singer, and that she would have contributed to the song in different ways.
