As the debate continues over Eunbi’s autonomy and how she is perceived, other stories of harassment and assault at WATERBOMB events have also surfaced.
The same account that brought attention to the alleged harassment Eunbi faced also shared comments from a video that talked about experiences at WATERBOMB. Several comments discussed being squirted in the face with water or having buckets poured on them by complete strangers.

I went to Waterbomb and someone shot my friend in the eye with a high-pressure water gun, making them lose their contact lenses and bursting blood vessels. They had to be treated for a while. And when we went to refill water, there was a group saying sh*t like if it would turn the women on to get shot in the clit and snickering. It’s full of crazy psychopaths. I would never go back.

I went to one of the earliest Waterbombs and I’ve never gone back. My hair got wet, so I put on a hat. And people went out of their way to aim under the hat and even spraying directly into my eyes and at my contact lenses. I will never forget how they would walk past, just laughing about it, it was wild. Like some people were visibly in pain and they would still shoot more water at them.

Some shared that attendees would even spray at private parts and harass people who were obviously not participating at the time, even using alcohol in guns instead of water.

When I went, the water refill station was really far away, so people were filling up leftover beer and shooting that instead. And there were a lot of people who only aimed their water guns at faces and private parts. Some would even walk by and shoot right into your face, up close. I went once and never again.

Yep. All true. One time, my friend wanted to go, so I went with her. There was a faucet area?—a place to fill up water guns—and when I got there, some guy dumped an entire bucket of water on me from above, starting from my head. I suddenly couldn’t breathe—like my breath just stopped—and I was gasping for air. But I could hear all the guys laughing around me, and while I couldn’t even open my eyes, several people surrounded me and started spraying water guns right at my face. I honestly almost had a breathing emergency. And then someone else dumped a whole scoop of water on me with something like a rice bowl… I was completely surrounded, frozen, and couldn’t breathe—my friend had to pull me out to save me. I’ve never gone back since. Yeah… no thanks.

While WATERBOMB is definitely can be a fun way to cool off, it requires everyone to respect each other.
