WINNER Is The First YG Entertainment Boy Group To Achieve This Record

And only one other YG artist has achieved the record before!

WINNER has been absolutely crushing it with their latest comeback. In fact, they’re going so hard that they recently became the first YG Entertainment boy group to achieve a very impressive record.

Inner Circles have a lot to celebrate recently. Not only did they get a brand new lit EP with a title track that a complete bop, but they got to celebrate WINNER’s first “Ah Yeah” win on M! Countdown and a triple crown victory on the Gaon charts!

A triple crown and a win on M! Countdown, however, aren’t the only big achievements worth celebrating. In just 6 days since their WE EP dropped, WINNER has surpassed 100,000 albums sold and the numbers continue to rise.

This is not only the first time that WINNER has achieved this impressive feat during the first week from the release of their album, but it’s also the first time a YG Entertainment boy group has achieved this record! The previous highest record for YG Entertainment boy group went to BIGBANG with 94,100 albums sold on their Tonight EP.

On top of that, the only other YG Entertainment artist who has reached the milestone is BLACKPINK with Square Up and Kill This Love.  Additionally, as of 6:20 PM KST On May 23, WINNER garnered 102,133 albums sold on Hanteo making it the 2nd highest first-week sales from a YG Entertainment album!

Congratulations WINNER and Inner Circles!
