It has been recently reported that Hallyu actor Bae Yong Joon (43) has recently broken up with his girlfriend Goo So Hee (29) after one year together.
The couple were initially revealed to be dating after a report from Japan’s Nikkan Sports in December 2013, identifying Goo So Hee as the second daughter of LS Industrial Systems Strategies‘ vice president. Following the reports, Bae Yong Joon’s side had confirmed the news story via his official Japanese website. It became hot news as this was the actor’s first public relationship in over nine years. Months following the news of their relationship, rumors of marriage began surrounding the couple, which was denied as simply rumors and untrue by Bae Yong Joon’s side in May of last year.
Their breakup has been confirmed by representatives from both sides that they have broke up. Goo So Hee’s side confirmed with Nikkan Sports on the 16th, while KeyEast Entertainment said on behalf of the actor, “Because this is a very personal matter, it is hard to say when and how they broke up,” confirming reports.
The reason for their breakup may well not be ever revealed as Bae Yong Joon is known to keep his private life from the public’s eyes.
