TREASURE showed yet again that they’re fanboys before celebrities in the first day of the 2022 MAMA Awards.

Here, YGX‘s Lee Jung and Youngdeuk (also known as Deukie) were given the opportunity to dance as a pair at the beginning of the program, a nod to their popularity stemming from their appearance at Mnet‘s Street Woman Fighter and Street Man Fighter respectively. They are part of the dance crew that works with YG Entertainment artists such as TREASURE.

Lee Jung and Deukie performed in arguably the best spot in the venue—the row of seats right in front of TREASURE!

The boy group gave them the loudest support! They jumped up and down and moved to the beat, hyping up the crowd with their reactions.

The company’s hip hop roots were evident in the way they naturally swayed to the music and copied the moves of the two dancers.

If one looked closely, they would also spot rapper Yoshi covering his mouth in awe at the cool seniors in front of him.

This is not the first time TREASURE was open about their love for the company’s dance crew. In a past Weverse post, co-leader Jihoon proudly told a fan that his favorite group in Mnet‘s Street Woman Fighter was undoubtedly YGX.

A little over a year later, this fanboy-like support was captured on the cameras of the 2022 MAMA Awards.
