Yoo Byung Jae And His Manager Confirmed To Not Renew Their Contracts With YG Entertainment

They’re leaving YG Entertainment.

Comedian and TV personality, Yoo Byung Jae, announced that he will not be renewing his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment once it expires in June.

Yoo Byung Jae first rose to fame after showcasing his unique personality on Infinite Challenge in 2015. His newfound fame gained him an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment.

 

His career soon soared as he continued to become a permanent cast on multiple popular variety shows, such as The Manager. There, his close friend and manager, Yoo Kyu Sun also found fame as they appeared on the show together.

YG Entertainment confirmed that both Yoo Byung Jae and Yoo Kyu Sun will be leaving the agency.

After discussing with Yoo Byung Jae about his contract expiring, he had decided to end his relations with our management starting in the beginning of June. His manager, Yoo Kyu Sun, will also end his ties [with YG].

We thank the fans who have continued to love Yoo Byung Jae and YG. We’ll continue to cheer on his future endeavors.
