GOT7's Youngjae Has His First Script Reading As Ha Ram In Musical "The Sun's Song"

It was recently announced that GOT7‘s Youngjae, SHINee‘s Onew, DAY6‘s Wonpil, and Lovelyz‘s Kei have been cast as Ha Ram in the musical The Sun’s Song. It’s presumed that they will alternate playing the role for different performance dates.

On February 22, Youngjae had his first script reading with the cast. SHINSWAVE has released footage of the meeting, giving us a first look at his portrayal of the male lead Ha Ram.

In the video clip, Youngjae exchanges lines with his castmate Lee Ah Jin, who plays the lead female role of Hae Na. He introduces himself as his character, “My name is Jeong Ha Ram! I’m 18 and I don’t have a girlfriend. My personality is someone who is quite…shy? My hobby is surfing!”

While just a couple of lines from the script, it was enough to make us curious to learn more about the character’s story. The musical will be held at the Kwanglim Arts Center from May 1 until July 25. Tickets go on sale starting March 12.
