A Zoo In The U.K. Names An Otter After SEVENTEEN’s Dino

They’ve named him after the singer, and its all thanks to CARATs!

A zoo has named the cutest otter after SEVENTEEN‘s Dino!

On January 23, Chester Zoo in the UK uploaded a tweet via their Twitter of 5 newborn otter pups dipping their toes in water for the first time! In the tweet along with the clip, the zoo asked their followers for suggestions regarding naming the baby otters.

Some Carats saw the tweet, and were struck with how much Dino bore a resemblance to the adorable otters! Soon, the comment section of the Tweet was filled with requests to name one of the otters after Dino!

After all the requests to name one of the otters after SEVENTEEN’s maknae, Chester Zoo uploaded a tweet on January 28, announcing the 5 otters names as Pebbles, Blossom, Rainbow, River and Dino!

Fans have been ecstatic at Chester Zoo’s heedfulness of their adorable request!

This is the second time an animal has been named after a K-Pop idol! In January 2019, the Los Angeles Zoo And Botanical Gardens in the U.S. named a baby pudu after NCT‘s Haechan after fans raised nearly $2500 USD for it, because they believed that Haechan looks just like the pudu!

SEVENTEEN is currently on their 2019-2020 world tour Ode To You, and embarked on the North American leg of their tour in January. Their last release was with their full album Ode To You, and title track “Fear”.
