49-Year-Old Actor Called “Old And Wrinkly” Looks Years Younger In New Photos
Regardless of how hard people attempt to fight, aging is an inevitable part of life. Rather than embracing that this fact also applies to celebrities, netizens often heckle stars for showing any signs of growing older.
Recently, another actor heckled for his appearance has appeared to age in reverse in new photos.
Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu began his career as a model before being scouted to appear in the 1998 film Bishonen, which told the story of an ill-fated romance between two men.
Wu has since appeared in over 60 films and expanded to English language series, including AMC‘s Into The Badlands and Disney+‘s American Born Chinese.
In March 2024, Wu shared a photo with actress Jia Ling, who lost 50kg for her appearance in a film, and in the same month, a photo taken with a fan was shared online. News publications described Wu’s appearance as “wrinkly” and have discussed his “decline in visuals” as of late.
However, recent photos from an events have left netizens impressed by his younger appearing visuals.
In June, the actor attended an event in Shanghai, where photos of him at a dinner circulated online, leading many to praise his appearance. The same thing happened following an event for Japanese athletics brand Descente on June 30, with the phrase “Daniel Wu is handsome again” trending on Weibo.
Even looking at entirely unaltered photos, the fine lines around his eyes seem to have shortened and his skin appears to be much brighter.
Wu looked handsome before and after, but it is nice to see his visuals be appreciated!
