We might be in the middle of winter, but these songs are perfect for warming you up and pushing away the cold.
The holiday season is coming to a close, but we still have a few months of winter left. However, these songs are the best way to fight off the winter blues and enjoy the cold days to their fullest.
1. EXO – For Life
This slow ballad is the embodiment of Winter. The title track from their most recent EP, For Life, is a tender, delicate song that will warm anyone’s heart even during the coldest days.
2. Urban Zakapa – That Kind of Night
Urban Zakapa is well known for their beautiful vocals. They’re back at it again with “That Kind of Night,” which is a part of the OST for the drama My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week. The R&B trio’s song wholeheartedly welcomes the gloomy feelings of winter and is the ideal accompaniment to curling up in a blanket on a cold winter night.
3. MAMAMOO – Memory
Released on November 27th, the title song from MAMAMOO’s 4th EP, Memory, brings more of the group’s jazz-influenced style to embrace the season. The lyrics of “Memory” speak about time spent with loved ones and are perfect for looking back over the year while wrapped up warm next to the fireplace.
4. Jessica – Wonderland
Returning with her second solo EP this December, Jessica saw herself launched to the top of the Gaon Album Charts for the second time in a row. Driven by the album’s title song “Wonderland,” the Ice Princess took the image of winter and completely flipped it, making an upbeat and lively song that will make you see the season in an entirely new way.
5. Soyou (SISTAR) & Henry – Runnin’
Soyou worked with Henry when they released this relaxed R&B song back in October. The playful lyrics and MV are the best way to say goodbye to winter and remind yourself that spring will be here soon.
