Aespa’s Karina Confesses She Suffers From Insomnia And Shares Her Go-To Method To Fall Asleep
As a young, beautiful, wealthy, and famous celebrity, aespa‘s Karina lives the kind of life that many people dream of. However, that doesn’t mean she has zero problems and concerns of her own.
The “Savage” singer opened up about this topic in a recent interview with ELLE KOREA where she and her members guessed facts about each other.
When it was her turn, Karina asked Giselle, Ningning, and Winter, “What is my biggest worry?”
Winter guessed the correct answer immediately—sleep. Karina admitted, “I’m suffering from insomnia.”
Insomnia is a sleep disorder in which a person has a hard time falling or staying asleep, and her demanding schedule as a K-Pop idol may have been a contributing factor.
Upon hearing that, Karina was asked if she has any tips for when she wants to sleep right away. She explained that she enjoys doing the 4-7-8 breathing technique that many people swear by.
She relaxes her body, breathes in four times, holds her breath for seven seconds, then breathes out for eight seconds. It is her go-to method when she has a hard time falling asleep.
There’s this ‘478 breathing’ that I do. You need to do it with your body totally relaxed. Breathe in 4 times. Hold it for 7 seconds, and breathe out for 8 seconds. Do this until you fall asleep.
Hopefully, Karina recovers from her insomnia quickly and is able to have a good night’s rest every day.
