AKMU‘s Suhyun revealed her honest thoughts on her lack of educational background in MBC’s Human Documentary People is Good.
The documentary gives viewers a sneak peek into the stars’ growth and behind-the-scenes moments, and one of the topics covered was Suhyun’s educational past.
AKMU’s Suhyun and Chanhyuk spent their childhood in Mongolia with their parents, and rather than going to school, they decided to be homeschooled instead.
And once they returned to Korea, they took the qualification exams for elementary and middle school, but Suhyun confessed that she didn’t take her high school GED.
Suhyun shared that she’s still not very good at studying, but that she doesn’t let that get her down.
I’m still not very good at studying. But I don’t think that brings me down in any sort of way.
She explained that she has no regrets regarding her decision regarding education and that she’s confident in who she is.
I’m working hard in a different field. There are people who go that path, and there are people who go a different path.
AKMU’s Suhyun is proud to be who she is, and she should be because AKMU is certainly changing many people’s lives with their wonderful music.
