ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo Thrives As A Successful Idol, Actor, And Entertainer—Here’s His Secret To Making It All Work
ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo has dominated several areas of the entertainment world! Not only is his career as an artist thriving, but also his career as an entertainer and actor!
Besides his several record-breaking hits with ASTRO, Eunwoo has starred in numerous K-Drama’s and recently killed it in the hit variety show Master In The house.
So how does he do it all? In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Korea, Eunwoo shared how he manages to work so many careers and also be successful at them!
In his interview, it was mentioned how being in three fields of entertainment can be difficult and Eunwoo replied that the secret is merely doing the job and gaining experience.
Q: Being a multitainer is never easy, but you are active in the three fields of drama, entertainment, and music. What’s the secret?
When it comes to performance, I’m embarrassed and it’s just that I’ve deepened my experience a bit. It seems to be connected with earlier, I was greedy for work, so I wanted to do everything I was given, I was in my early 20s, I was reckless, and I got used to it, it became fun, and I met a lot of good people.

Along with gaining experience through simply doing it, Eunwoo also puts a lot of extra effort into everything. For example, while he was a main cast member of Master In The House, Eunwoo would often study the “Masters” who came to guest star.
Q: There is no mention of the efforts you put in. For example, when a guest appeared in Master In The House, it was said that they did a lot of research and study about that person.
That’s why I say one more thing. Not because of my efforts. I’m a little fatalist. If it was good, I think it was destined to become like this. On the other hand, when it comes to difficult things, I think I am going through this now in order to make it less difficult later on.

Q: You started working in the entertainment industry at a young age and have come this far. What do you think is the core that sustains you?
I have big plans for work. But sometimes I feel lost. I feel like I’ve lost sight of where I’m trying to go. When that happens, I think about the future. I picture myself tackling those plans—one at a time. And I steer myself that way. Soon, I snap out of it and it’s like I’ve never doubted myself at all. This is why it’s incredibly important to have a strong mindset and self-control. I try to focus on my choices and work for better concentration. Anyway… yeah, I’d say I’m constantly switching between being super focused and super lost (haha).
