Bar Owner From BTS’s “Bon Voyage” Sends Video Letter To Jin

Jin’s friend from Malta had this to say.

BTS‘s Jin makes friends wherever he goes, and one of those friends has a special message for him!

In 2018, BTS traveled to Malta, an island 1/6 the size of Jeju Island, in the Mediterranean Sea. Here they filmed Season 3 of their travel-reality show, Bon Voyage.

One night, Jin went out to Cockney’s, a family-run restaurant in the heart of Marsamxett Harbour. While there, he had a drink with the bar’s owner, Charles.

Jin apologized for not speaking fluent English, but Charles reassured Jin by saying, “I can’t speak Korean.” A language barrier didn’t stop them from enjoying their time together.

On October 23, Twitter user NORE 노래 (@BTS_HEARTistry) posted a video she took of Charles in Malta. He wanted to send a message to his friend, “Gim”. “Hi Gim,” he said. “When you come back to Malta, you’re welcome. We like you. You’re a good guy.”

With some help from her fellow ARMYs, NORE posted the video to Weverse with the hashtag #JinxCharles, hoping that Jin will see it.

Charles even checked in with NORE, wondering if “Gim” had been in contact.

Charles was also kind enough to show this ARMY the photo he took with Jin on that fateful night!

Fans hope that Jin will see the message soon!
