BIGBANG's Taeyang Once Held An "Adult" Solo Concert, And It Was All Because Of One Unique Group Of Fans

BIGBANG‘s Taeyang once held different types of concerts depending on the age of the audience in attendance.

The senior artist has been releasing solo songs since 2008, being popular enough to fill up concert halls filled with thousands of people. He had a unique version of his SOLAR concert in 2010 which he explained in a recent interview on 1theK‘s “Look Me Up.”

On September 25, 2010, the second SOLAR concert—after the first concert, HOT concert, it was special in that it was a concert restricted to adults.

He noted that his SOLAR concert had a session for people 18 years old and above. It wasn’t something he came up on his own or heard from his female fans. In fact, it was his male supporters who wanted to see his sexy side more!

The reason I did that was…I remember many male fans who liked me wanted me to hold a concert for adults so I got a suggestion for it.

Taeyang found out about this after seeing their comments on an online forum. It didn’t take much more convincing for him to make their wishes come true!

I may not remember it correctly, but I think part of it had to do with [internet forum] DCinside.

The K-Pop idol found both the regular and adult concerts similar considering that the set list, set designs, dancers, and such were the same.

Actually, there wasn’t much difference between the adult and general concerts.

One key difference, however, was the amount of seduction he displayed. The general concert was more public friendly…

…while the adult concert was noticeably more sexy.

Taeyang acknowledged that he deliberately made more sensual moves when his audience was surely made up of only adults.

I do take off my top a lot at concerts but I remember showing more skin during the adult concert. Also, my performance was a bit more seductive.
