Billboard just released their Top Artist charts of the year, and BTS ranked as #10 next to global stars like Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and Drake!
They were ranked higher than legendary artists like Coldplay, Ariana Grande and Maroon 5.
Billboard picks their top artists based on sales data, radio play, and streaming data.
The ranking is based on each artists’ chart performance on the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200 and Social 50, as well as Boxscore touring revenue.
Meanwhile, their newly released “MIC Drop” debuted at No. 37 on the Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart, the second K-Pop song to reach the ranking following PSY’s “Gangnam Style”.
