Every interaction between BLACKPINK and Dua Lipa has been absolutely heart-melting, but there was nothing like the moment when BLINKs got to see them performing “Kiss And Make Up” together. So when BLINKs discovered the exact moment they met up before the concert, it was almost too much cuteness to handle!

They recently discovered that there was a second dose of BLACKPINK and Dua Lipa cuteness to take in! Shortly after the concert, US YG Entertainment agent, Danny Lee, uploaded a video of the moment they met during rehearsals.

In the short clip, they can be seen greeting each other with hugs and a whole lot of excitement!

360 ♻️ (days). Almost 1 year to this day, Jennie and Lisa met Dua in Korea. 6 months later “Kiss and Make Up” was born. 6 months after that, tonight, all the girls shared the stage for the first time to perform their collaboration, and kicked off Asian Pacific American Heritage Month! Between these times, both BLACKPINK and Dua Lipa have set the bar for global music, won numerous awards, broken virtually every digital music record possible, and most importantly stand for something real. A new fearless generation willing to break the rules and make new ones (insert ‘New Rules’ reference), regardless of race, religion, gender, orientation and/or beliefs. I’ve been around this business for 20 years and without a doubt tonight was the proudest moment in my career. Seeing the reactions between these artists and the genuine and authentic excitement of them all meeting together for the first time at sound check (swipe left for video), I could not help but tear for joy. Then when I saw them perform in front of a sold out crowd, and seeing and hearing how the audience received it, I choked the fuck up, fr fr. Tonight was proof and validation that all people belong together and we are one world. I saw people of all shapes, color, size, uniqueness and beauty, but they all had one thing in common – they were all happy and rocked a big ass MF’n smile! On top of that I got to share this moment with some loved ones. Songs have different meanings for different folks at different times. Tonight “Kiss and Make Up” was not about a potential break up. It was purely about connection, no precursor. I’ve been open about my struggle and confusion as a Korean-American in a western world but tonight I can now call that chapter an Old Testament. I can now write fresh new volumes, in a confident voice, and with an enlightened message. I’m humbled and blessed to have witnessed this and played a small role in this process.
