BLACKPINK’s Jennie Once Injured Herself, And Even She Was Surprised At How It Happened

“I couldn’t blame anyone but myself.”

If you’ve ever had moments where you wondered, “Why am I so clumsy?” you’re not alone! Even idols have instances where they do something and regret it immediately afterwards.

Without a doubt, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie is one of those people. When talking about their recent activities in the prologue of 24/365 with BLACKPINK, she revealed that she got injured in the early months of 2020.

We haven’t done much activities because of social distancing right? As summer was approaching, I wanted to look fit, so I was working really hard on my hips.

She shyly revealed that she got hurt on her very first day of exercising. The other girls couldn’t help but exclaim, “It just shows how unfit you are!” since her body was not used to the intense fitness training.

Jennie couldn’t even get mad at her members because she agreed with them one hundred percent! Even she was surprised at how she got her injury.

Yeah, I couldn’t blame anyone but myself, because I tripped over my own legs.

Though it wasn’t a great experience, she explained that it was fortunate the injury wasn’t worse than it was

Luckily, it wasn’t a fracture but they think I pulled a muscle. It’s been more than a month now and I’m in the process of healing.

As Jennie is one of the most injury-prone members of BLACKPINK, she ended with words of caution for BLINKs to never overdo themselves.
