BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Gets Hilariously Honest About Why She Wanted To Change Her Hair Color From Her Usual Black To Blonde
Episode 4 of BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo‘s solo debut vlog series has been uploaded on her YouTube channel. Dubbed “Dance Practice Behind,” it showed what happened in the days when she first learned the choreography of “Flower.”
On the fourth day of practice, she revealed that she was scheduled to dye her hair the next day. This is the same process that she shared in the first episode of her vlog series.
Jisoo is famous for almost always having black or dark brown hair and so the sudden change to the complete opposite was surprising to many.
She explained that this time around, she wanted to experience something new.

Jisoo’s reason for doing so was both spontaneous and light-hearted. She said candidly that she was originally planning on altering it to the usual dark shades that she wears but finally found it “boring.”
I was going to dye it dark but I changed my mind. I found it so boring.

She had a slight epiphany when staring at herself, realizing that it was time to spice things up.
I looked at myself in the mirror and was shocked at how boring it was. So I’m going to dye it tomorrow.

Dyeing her hair blonde was also a mini rebellious streak that she wanted to try.

She even joked around with choreographer Lee Jung, layering the latter’s colored hair over her own black one to mimic how she will look the next day.
The final result was definitely a striking one!
