BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” Got These Two Benchmark Achievements In The Same Day

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” wears the crown for a reason.

BLACKPINK‘s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” doesn’t seem like it’s slowing down any time soon. It creates and breaks new records almost weekly, and on July 26 it added two more accolades to its name. Firstly, it gained 10 million likes on YouTube.

This marks BLACKPINK’s first music video to garner 10 million votes and is the 4th K-Pop video overall. The other three videos belong to BTS: “DNA” (10M), “Boy With Luv” (11M), and “Fake Love” (10M).

The second title “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and it’s accompanying mini album Square Up took home today was the title of the first girl group album to surpass 2 billion digital points on Gaon.

BLACKPINK might be on a bit of a break right now after coming home from Hawaii, but their legacy isn’t slowing down at all.
