Filipina Actress And Certified BLINK Liza Soberano Finally Takes A Photo With BLACKPINK’s Jennie—But It Isn’t Their First Interaction
Liza Soberano, a renowned actress in the Philippines, has never hidden her love for BLACKPINK.
She has shown many times throughout the years that she’s a genuine fangirl. For one, she often posts about them on her Instagram account with over 17 million followers, liking fan-taken pictures from various accounts as well.

She was also dressed to impress—while carrying a BLACKPINK lightstick, of course—during their Manila concert in 2018.
A year later, Liza even went all the way to California just to watch them perform at the Coachella festival.
It was here when the highlight of her fandom life (at that point) happened: Jennie winked at her from the stage! She gushed about this in a past interview, swearing that the BLACKPINK rapper directed the unique fanservice towards her.
I remember Jennie even winked at me! She was staring and I didn’t know if it was at me or somebody else. She was really looking at me. And so just to make sure it was me, I winked at her…and she winked back! So I knew.

Three years later, an even bigger fangirl moment happened to her. Liza was able to attend their BORN PINK concert at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, and she had the chance to head backstage to meet Jennie in person.

They snapped a quick photo and video together, standing shoulder-to-shoulder and posing like the celebrities they are.
The Filipina actress captioned this moment with a reference to one of their recent B-Side tracks, saying, “I’m the happiest girl.”
Besides interacting with Jennie for the second time, she also had her first meeting with Lisa. The latter even wrapped her arm over her shoulder while they had their picture taken!
