BTS’s “ARIRANG” Album: Disappointing Or Worth The Wait?
On March 20, BTS finally returned with their highly anticipated album ARIRANG. In a poll, fans voted to express their thoughts about the album, and their reactions varied. From technical critiques to outright praise, the results show just how divisive ARIRANG is, with some fans celebrating it as a triumph and others giving it a thumbs down.

At the lowest end of the results, two opinions tied for the smallest share of the vote, each receiving 6%. “I dislike “ARIRANG” for technical reasons (production, mixing, vocal effects, etc)” and “I have mixed feelings. I like some songs but dislike others.” tied, but the second option had a 4-vote lead.

Moving up, 8% of voters had a lukewarm reaction to the album because of the lyrics.

These fans voted: “I would like “ARIRANG” better if it had more Korean lyrics and/or better English lyrics.”

15% of voters selected “ARIRANG” is okay, but it’s underwhelming compared to BTS’s previous albums.” ARIRANG marks a new chapter for BTS, though some fans have made comparisons to Dark & Wild.

This perspective highlights a sense of unmet expectations, especially given the group’s strong track record and the anticipation leading up to the release.

On the more critical end, 22% of voters felt that “ARIRANG” wasn’t worth the wait at all. They selected: ““ARIRANG” wasn’t worth the wait. I don’t like it at all. “

Finally, taking the top spot, 34% of voters declared that “ARIRANG” was worth the wait. They chose the most positive option: “ARIRANG” was worth the wait. I love everything about it!”
