The X-Rated Hack BTS Fans Used To Outsmart HYBE

From wardrobe malfunctions to on-stage kisses, there have been some wild moments in K-Pop history. One NSFW one involves BTS‘s resourceful fandom, ARMY.

Back in 2016, when HYBE was still BigHit Entertainment, BTS released the first season of Bon Voyage. In this travel-reality show, BTS’s members go on adventures in various parts of the world, including Norway, Sweden, and New Zealand. The first season was available to purchase on Weverse’s predecessor, VLIVE.

Unsurprisingly, some fans uploaded Bon Voyage on free streaming sites. As these uploads were increasingly deleted due to copyright infringement, ARMYs turned to an unlikely ally: Pornhub.
Pornhub is a Canadian-owned pornography video-sharing website owned by the adult entertainment conglomerate Aylo. Here, fans uploaded full-length episodes of Bon Voyage and gave the videos titles that parodied the titles of sex videos commonly found on Pornhub. The videos were eventually taken down.

Years later, fans are still talking about what might be the most NSFW moment in the fandom’s history.
remember when bighit took down all of the bon voyage content from every single site so an army uploaded them on p*rnhub and fans actually watched it from there until it got removed again 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/m6SA2a9dSv
