BTS Calls Suga During The 2020 MAMA So That He Could Give Their Acceptance Speech For “Album Of The Year”
BTS‘s Suga has been absent from the group’s schedules due to his recent shoulder surgery.
However, the members always make sure to include him whenever they can, and that was the case during the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
When it was time to announce the winner of “Album of the Year”, James Corden had the honor of announcing that BTS’s MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 had won.
BTS then came out for their acceptance speech, and Jimin made a special announcement that Suga “came” with them to accept the award.
Jimin then got out his phone, and Suga was on the other line!
Suga then gave their acceptance speech and began by thanking ARMYs (BTS’s fandom) for making this possible.
Not only that, but Suga also praised the members for the hard work they did this year and thanked ARMYs for all the love they gave them this year.
Suga also made sure to let ARMYs know that he’s recovering well from his shoulder surgery and that they don’t need to worry about him.
Near the end of the speech, Suga got a little playful and stated that people were messaging him about his absence from the show. However, Suga made sure to let everyone know that he was with the members in spirit.
