BTS Jimin’s Awkward GRAMMYs Moment With DJ Khaled Is Relatable AF

He revealed an adorkable anecdote from the 2020 GRAMMYs.

BTS‘s Jimin is a charismatic superstar, but even he has his awkward moments.

At the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards, BTS reunited with some of their famous friends behind the scenes, like Ariana GrandeCamila Cabello, and DJ Khaled.

According to J-Hope, DJ Khaled has become like a hometown friend to BTS.

They first met DJ Khaled at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, and they’ve been friends ever since.

During BTS’s afterparty with ARMY, Jimin shared what happened when he and DJ Khaled said hello to each other.

Jimin was the last of BTS’s members to greet DJ Khaled at the GRAMMYs. When DJ Khaled said, “Yo”, Jimin said, “yes” — then walked away!

The other members burst out laughing, and Jin wanted to know what on earth Jimin had been thinking. “Yes” isn’t the answer to “yo”!

RM, on the other hand, jokingly suggested that they’d been playing a word game.

Awkwardness aside, Jimin and DJ Khaled were truly happy to see each other. Hopefully, these “hometown friends” will meet again at the 2021 GRAMMYs, if not sooner!
