BTS Is The Only Idol Group That Debuted In 2013 And Is Still Active

Remember SPEED, HISTORY, and WA$$UP?

Do you still remember BTS‘s impressive debut?

The world-famous boy group made their entrance into the K-Pop scene on June 13, 2013 with the song “No More Dream”.

Before BTS, there was a lack of popular groups coming from a company not under the “Big 3”, which is composed of SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment.

The unparalleled success that BTS is enjoying today is highlighted by the fact that there is no other group that debuted in the same year as them that is still active today.

You may remember boy groups SPEED, HISTORY, and Boys Republic, or for girl groups, Ladies’ Code, 2EYES, and WA$$UP.

While many of these groups have officially announced their disbandment, others are taking an indefinite hiatus or are focusing on their solo careers. The common denominator among all of them is that none are currently promoting as a group.

Meanwhile, BTS is taking over the world with their hit albums, mesmerizing choreography, and lovable personalities.

BTS may now be the only actively promoting group that debuted in 2013, but the other groups will always be missed.
