Since Jin’s enlistment, he has sent ARMYs monthly messages, filled with encouragement as he checks in, often via pre-filmed videos.

Even before his enlistment, Jin kept his schedule packed in order to prepare plenty of content for ARMYs.
From his solo debut song “The Astronaut” to rare variety show appearances, Jin kept ARMYs on their toes as they waited to see what was next.
The currently enlisted BTS member was the most recent guest on Suga‘s pre-filmed Suchwita episode, and he revealed that he filmed the video only four days before he enlisted.
During the episode, he shared that he had even more gifts in store for ARMYs, proving how precious BTS’s fans are to him and how often ARMYs are on his mind.
Last year, Jin filmed a fun YouTube series, The Drunken Truth (also known as Jin’s Traditional Alcohol Journey), where he learned how to make alcohol, including traditional Korean rice wine, makgeolli, with veteran alcohol artisan Park Rok Dam and celebrity chef Baek Jong Won.
Jin revealed during his Suchwita episode that Baek Jong Won made a promise to him before his enlistment.
BTS’s oldest member wanted to give the alcohol he made to many people, so Baek Jong Won promised to continue making it while he’s gone.
He went on to reveal exactly how grand his plans were, all for the sake of gifting the alcohol to ARMYs and his fellow members.
He and Baek Jong Won had looked for brewery sites before Jin’s enlistment so he can give away the alcohol he makes when he returns from his military service.
Jin revealed plans for his own alcohol brand during his The Drunken Truth series. It’s another exciting development that ARMYs can look forward to!
