BTS’s RM Offers Advice To Those Facing Challenges, And Opens Up About Dealing With His Own Struggles

RM shared his wisdom in a recent Weverse live.

On August 12, BTS‘s leader RM held a 40-minute Weverse live and had many ARMYs feeling at home with his thoughtful advice, life updates, and excitement shared about the group’s 2025 reunion.

While catching up with fans, RM responded to ARMYs’ questions and comments and gave requested advice to fans.

One ARMY asked the BTS leader if he had any advice for high school graduates, and his unique response quickly went viral.

RM was on a roll with his wisdom and opened up even more to ARMYs when another fan asked him what he does when he struggles.

The BTS member, who has been open about his mental health and his efforts to “not to lose in front of the depression and getting exhausted,” shared one of his “favorite phrases” that helps him through tough times; “Done is better than perfect.”

What do I do when I struggle? I don’t know, I just— you know I just deal with it. You know, there’s always— actually, I shared one of my favorite phrases with you guys because ‘done is better than perfect.’

He further addressed his struggles while heartwarmingly listening to ARMYs’ fanmade song “Love Letters.”

The lyrics shared fans’ gratitude toward the BTS members for teaching them to “love [themselves].” RM reflected on the lyrics before stating, “I don’t even know how to love myself still, so. I’m happy if you guys got it.

RM’s wisdom comes from personal experience, and many ARMYs appreciate how open the BTS leader is about his own struggles, helping fans to relate to the global star on a more personal level.
