What BTS Are Actually Like During Dance Practices, According To Choreographer Sienna Lalau

Choreographer Sienna Lalau has worked with artists like J. Lo, Ciara, Justin Bieber, and BTS. She was the creative genius behind BTS’s powerful and stunning “ON” performance, seamlessly balancing the band and idols in the performance. The talented choreographer has also accompanied BTS on tour and continually speaks about their energy and passion.

In a recent interview, Sienna Lalau further opened up about what each BTS member is like while learning and rehearsing dances.

Sienna Lalau admits that she loves working with BTS because of their talent and work ethic.

I love working with the boys. I think that they’re so talented, so hard-working. They’re all very funny in their own way. Honestly, all of them work really hard.

According to Sienna Lalau, Jungkook is incredibly focused on rehearsal, doing all he can to perfect the routine.

J-Hope, as ARMY know, is an incredibly passionate and talented dance leader for the group, ensuring every performance will show off all their immeasurable talent.

J-Hope is very much a really great leader. He’s always like, ‘Make sure you stand on this. Make sure you stand here.’ He’s so good. So so good.

Sienna Lalau has nothing but praise for RM, Suga, and Jin, impressed by their dedication to always working hard to look their best on stage.

RM, Suga, Jin, I feel like they’re also very concentrated and focused, and they always make sure that they look really, really good every single time.

In contrast, Sienna Lalau describes V as “always very relaxed,” despite always staying on top of choreography and giving it his all.

V is always very funny, he’s always very relaxed, but he works really, really hard. I feel like he just knows that he’s got it.

And she believes that Jimin and Jungkook are very similar in the effort they give to constantly rehearsing and trying to perfect their dancing.

But despite the members having different styles for rehearsing, Sienna Lalau praises their efforts to work together and give the best possible performances.

But everybody’s always on point. And even if something feels off in the dance or in the formation, they’re always like, ‘Make sure this happens and make sure that happens.’ I think they’re all very, very on it. But they all have very distinct personalities, for sure.
