Corporate Trainee Fired After Drawing Giant Penises And Boobs In Office

“SK Group has a zero-tolerance policy against sexual harassment and abuse…”

SK Hynix, a company worth over $25 billion USD and the world’s second-largest memory chip making company, had recruits play a game of Pictionary during their new employee training. Unfortunately, two employees took the game a little too far resulting in their termination.

One of the employees got the word “objective lens” (대물렌즈). However, in Korean, 대물 is also a slang word for “big penis”. The recruit then drew a big penis next to a lens.

The other word was lactic acid (젖산). In Korean, 젖 can mean breasts and 산 can mean mountain. So this recruit drew a pair of breasts next to a mountain.

A female employee complained of sexual harassment and subsequently, SK Hynix commented on the issue, saying they had fired all individuals involved.

“The person who submitted the words was an employee of an SK Hynix subsidiary and the people who drew the pictures were SK Hynix employees. SK Group has a zero-tolerance policy against sexual harassment and abuse and based on these principles, the employees have been fired.”  — SK Hynix
