Drug Investigation Expert Finds It Is Hard To Determine G-Dragon’s Gestures Being Linked To Drugs

This could be a person’s unique behavior.

Recently, an expert analysis has found that it is impossible to determine whether G-Dragon has taken drugs based on the unique gestures he showed during the police investigation. On YTN’s Newsrider, lawyer Kim Hee Jun, who was active as a drug investigation expert as a prosecutor, appeared and predicted the status of G-Dragon’s investigation.

On November 6, G-Dragon, who had been interrogated for about four hours as a suspect by the Incheon Police drug crime investigation unit, tested negative in a simple drug reagent test. G-Dragon, who voluntarily appeared at the police station, maintained a relaxed attitude in front of the reporters.

G-Dragon stated, “There is no truth about drug-related crimes. I came to reveal that.” Even after completing the investigation, G-Dragon had a confident attitude and even joked. When asked what part of the investigation he mainly received, he answered, “I just laughed and it ended.”

Regarding the accuracy of the simple reagent test, Kim stated, “Simple reagent tests usually come out within five to ten days when conducting a drug investigation. So, it is a simple method that allows you to check whether or not drugs have been used right on the spot, and the accuracy is 100%.” This revealed that timing is more important than accuracy.

When attending the police station, G-Dragon made unique gestures such as moving his body frequently and even stretching. Seeing this, some people wondered if this was abnormal behavior. However, lawyer Kim presented a different analysis.

Based on those actions, you cannot determine whether someone has taken drugs because it may be a person’s unique behavior or gesture. So, it is difficult to determine whether or not someone has taken drugs based on the way they speak or the gestures they make. And drug offenders don’t have a certain unusual body language.

He also stated, “There are two types of drugs. There are industrial drugs and down-class drugs. If a person takes a down-series drug, he or she will sink and become depressed. If a person takes industrial drugs, the opposite phenomenon occurs. So, it depends on the types of drug, but it is difficult to say that such gestures or actions are necessarily an abnormal phenomenon when taking drugs.” According to Kim, the industrial drug is Philopon, and the down-grade group is Cannabis.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon posted on his Instagram, “Everything will eventually return to its proper state.” In response to this, Kim stated, “It seems like the details of the charges are not concrete, and G-Dragon seems to be curious about the details of the charges. In such a situation, we will have no choice but to continue like this.”
