Most K-Pop fans can only dream about attending school with their favorite idols. Surprisingly, even with his fame, the schoolmates of ENHYPEN‘s Jungwon don’t treat him any differently.
The topic was brought up in a past interview with Weverse Magazine where he was asked about his school life.
I heard you went to school today before the interview. How’s that going?

Jungwon attends the famous Hanlim Arts High School, which is the school of choice for many idols, including TWICE…
…ITZY…
…and ASTRO, to name a few.
It’s precisely because of its popularity among idols that Jungwon’s schoolmates “aren’t blown away” by his work. Jungwon is an singer…but so are they!
My school has a lot of singers because it’s an art school, so people at my school aren’t blown away by what I do.

That doesn’t mean the ENHYPEN members have no fans on campus, though. One of their schoolmates is a huge fan of Jay, and Jungwon enjoys seeing them call his name.
Jay has a fan there, though. It’s fun to see them calling out his name. (laughs)
