GOT7’s BamBam And Yugyeom Reveal Their Relationship With Park Jin Young After Leaving JYP Entertainment
Although GOT7 might have all signed to different agencies after choosing not to renew their contract with JYP Entertainment, it seems as if the members are still finding ways to promote together.
After releasing their debut solo albums, BamBam and Yugyeom recently appeared on Kim Shinyoung‘s Noon Song of Hope Radio.
During the interview, the members answered fan questions, and one asked about the support their old CEO Park Jin Young (known as JYP) gave them after leaving the company and if he gave them any feedback.
Yugyeom was the first to answer, and he explained that he hasn’t actually heard from Park Jin Young after releasing his album. However, he explained that his old boss had a positive reaction after choosing to sign with AOMG.
He didn’t give me feedback on my album, but when I said I was going to AOMG, he told me that I was going to do great just being myself.
When it came to BamBam, it seems that Park Jin Young actually had some influence in his album, particularly his track “Under The Sky.”
I had a drink with him last time, and he listened to my album’s songs. He really wanted ‘Under The Sky’ to be in the album. We almost didn’t have it there.
Despite the early meetings, it seems as if the duo hasn’t heard from Park Jin Young since actually releasing their albums. BamBam then added, “JYP, if you’re listening, please call BamBam and Yugyeom.”
It seems as if BamBam and Yugyeom are waiting for Park Jin Young’s call, but in the meantime, Ahgases are more than happy to praise the duo for their new releases. You can watch the whole interview with subtitles below.
