On NCT DREAM‘s Dream VS Dream, Mark asked Jaemin a question that shed light on what a leader appreciates most about his fellow members.
Testing how well Jaemin has been paying attention to him, Mark asked, “I like Jaemin even more these days. What could be the reason?”
The two couldn’t help smiling at each other over the compliment and Mark’s adorable reaction. Though Jaemin wasn’t so sure what the answer was at first, he knew once Mark reminded him, “You don’t know?”
Hitting the nail right on the head, Jaemin asked the question, “Do I seem like I’m working hard?” After laughing, Mark confirmed, “That’s right.”
Mark praised Jaemin for doing well for their “Glitch Mode” comeback, “You’ve been working hard on the recording.” That’s when Jaemin gave everyone a peek into what leaders appreciate most.
Knowing him well, Jaemin revealed, “Leaders like those things. He likes it when I practice hard.”
Since the leader is usually the person in a group with the most responsibility on their shoulders, it makes sense why they’d enjoy seeing the members work hard as well and slowly grow into their own potential.
