Idol Fired From His Job For Saying Fans Smelled “Like Sh*t” Is Active Again

He was exposed by an alleged ex-girlfriend.

In 2016, a reality program called BOYS24 aired and featured 49 male trainees who competed to be in the Boys24 pre-debut group.

After narrowing down the pool to 24, the members of Boys24 performed concerts each week. After 260 concerts, eight members were selected to debut as members of IN2IT officially. This show was a bit different than other survival shows, as fans had many more opportunities to interact with potential members, including during hi-touch events.

However, one member was exposed by an alleged ex-girlfriend for having less than kind thoughts about fans that attended events.

In a recording shared online, Lee Hwayoung made extremely offensive comments about fans, mentioning that meeting so many fans made him “want to throw up.”

I like being called oppa, not when I hear it from fans though, I fucking hate that. Ya, Fuck. It’s so annoying when we do the Hi-Touch.

You know, the Hi-Touch? Like when you hold hands and greet fans after the concert is over. Everyday I go through like 700~800 people and I feel like I’m going to puke.

Their fucking breath smells like shit.

Hwayoung was ultimately removed from the group, and stayed out of the spotlight afterwards.

The idol was inactive on his social media accounts, particularly YouTube for several years, but recently became active once more. The former idol has shared multiple covers in 2025.

He also updated his Facebook page, which seems to be his only other public social media account, with new photos of himself.
