There’s An Important Scene In The Trailer For “The Glory” Part 2, According to Actress Song Hye Kyo
Fans are sitting at the edge of their seats for the release of part 2 of Netflix‘s successful K-Drama The Glory on March 10. Actress Song Hye Kyo discussed an important moment in the trailer and built up the fans’ excitement even more.
On March 8, there was a GV (an acronym for “guest visit”) for The Glory part 2, where episodes 9 and 10 were premiered to a selected audience. After the showing, Song Hye Kyo, writer Kim Eun Sook, and director Ahn Gil Ho, talked about the show and answered questions.
Song Hye Kyo pointed out that this was her first GV for a drama since her debut and that attending this event made the show’s success feel real.
I haven’t felt the show’s popularity physically because I’m almost always at home these days. Being here today makes it feel real.

She then discussed a crucial moment from the trailer for The Glory part 2, where her character Moon Dong Eun yells, “Don’t laugh like that!” It’s a different side of Dong Eun than fans have seen in part 1, where she remains calm and cool despite all that is happening.
In part 1, Dong Eun is expressionless, but in part 2, all her emotions explode. So that part of the trailer hit home for me.

She then shared that a part of herself as Song Hye Kyo can be seen in Dong Eun.
At first, I started as Moon Dong Eun but because before I’m a human being before I’m an actor, Song Hye Kyo appeared here and there. However, as we moved toward the second half of the show, I became 100% Moon Dong Eun. I was able to act for each scene naturally by then. My fellow actors and I were 120% in sync. I think was able to deliver my emotions well because of the good energy exchanged between all the actors.

Song Hye Kyo stated that there are many scenes where all the actors said “Wow!” when they saw it. She raised fans’ excitement and expectations even more by sharing that there is a scene in part 2 that she “tore up.”
