“TMI News” Uncovers ITZY Lia’s Pre-Debut Days as a Silver Spoon Trainee

The bags Lia carried and the school she went to suggest that she comes from a wealthy family.

A recent episode of Mnet’s TMI News mentioned ITZY Lia‘s name as one of Korea’s silver spoon idols.

According to TMI News, Lia carried a 2 million won (~$1700 USD) designer bag at just 19 years old.

Furthermore, Lia went to an international high school in Jejudo where all classes are conducted in English.

That’s not all. The school even has over 100 club activities including orchestra, scuba diving, and horseback riding.

And what convinced TMI News that Lia is a silver spoon is the fact that the school’s yearly tuition is around 40 million won (~$34,000 USD), and with accommodations added on top, it costs a student over 60 million won (~$50,000) to attend.

It’s been revealed that the children of many celebrities and successful businessmen attend this school, but rather than picking a typical career path, Lia decided to become an idol instead.
