IU And Lee Jong Suk Are Deemed A Power Couple For Their Worldwide Popularity
The Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) recently published the results of 2023’s Global Hallyu Trends survey, which ranked the most popular Korean artists and actors by country.
The results for the overall ranking caught the eyes of fans as both singer IU and actor Lee Jong Suk were included.
Last December, it was confirmed that IU and Lee Jong Suk were in a relationship. Fans were happy to see IU and Lee Jong Suk make it onto the lists as two influential individuals who excel in their respective fields. In particular, they thought it was cool that they both ranked fifth in their respective categories.
IU was the only solo female artist to make it into the artist/group category. She impressed fans by appearing in the rankings for the actor category for some countries as “Lee Ji Eun.”

With IU and Lee Jong Suk being ranked as one of the top 5 artists and actors worldwide, netizens called them a “power couple” and the “King and Queen.”
