Ivanka Trump Accidentally Summoned ARMY With The BTS Hashtag
In 2020, BTS was everywhere, but nobody expected them to pop up in US politics!
Before BTS debuted, “BTS” had only one commonly known meaning: “behind the scenes”. On Twitter though, the #BTS hashtag stands for one thing and one thing only: BTS, as in Bangtan Sonyeondan, Bulletproof Boy Scouts, Beyond The Scene…You get the picture.
Ivanka Trump, daughter of and senior advisor to US President Donald Trump, did not get that memo. On February 4, 2020, she posted this photo and hashtagged it #BTS, and it was complete with the hashtag’s purple BTS logo at the time.

When ARMYs saw this, some had to do a doubletake! Did she really just tweet that?

Many fans tweeted back, asking Ivanka Trump to delete the tweet.
Others reminded her who their true president is.

Some ARMYs brought in the memes…
…and then, there were the fans who were just totally confused.
Where will BTS unexpectedly pop up next?
