IZ*ONE’s Sakura, Nako, & Hitomi Have A Question For TWICE On Idol Room

Shoutout to the language-learning ladies of TWICE and IZ*ONE.

On April 30’s episode of Idol Room featuring TWICE, three special guests had a question for TWICE’s foreign line.

IZ*ONE‘s Japanese members Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi virtually stopped by Idol Room to ask their foreign seniors in TWICE for some advice regarding learning Korean.

The IZ*ONE girls said that they were diligently studying Korean, but they were in the middle of activities; they were curious as to how Mina, Momo, Sana and Tzuyu were able to get so good at speaking Korean.

In answer, Hyeongdon asked each of the foreign TWICE ladies how long they’d been in Korea. Mina said she’s been there for 6 years, Sana and Momo for 8 years, and Tzuyu for 7 years.

“Foreigners who think in Korean, Mina, Sana, Momo, and Tzuyu”

When asked when their Korean comes out, Momo, Sana and Mina agreed that since they’ve been in Korea so long, they speak Korean most – they even think in Korean! Momo said that whether or not she dreams in Korean depends on who she’s talking to in her dreams. (Polyglot power!)

“If a Korean person comes out [in my dream] I use Korean. If it’s a Japanese person, I use Japanese.”
