JYP Girl Group Maknaes Have These 5 Things In Common, According To Fans

For one thing, they have exceptional visuals.

Looking back on JYP Entertainment‘s past girl groups, one thing’s for sure: They’ve certainly produced some extraordinary maknaes (Korean term for the youngest person in a group). Firstly, here is a brief introduction to the female maknae line of JYP Entertainment:

In 2007, JYP debuted their first girl group, Wonder Girls, whose youngest member was Sohee. Sohee is a 92-liner, meaning she was only 15 years old (in American age) at the time of her debut.

JYP’s next girl group was Miss A, who debuted in 2010 with their title song “Bad Girl, Good Girl”. Miss A’s maknae is none other than Suzy. Suzy was born in 1994 and was also only 15 years old when she made her debut as an idol.

In 2015, TWICE made their debut through the survival program Sixteen. TWICE’s maknae is the 99-liner Tzuyu, who debuted at 16 years old.

And last but not least, JYP’s most recent girl group, ITZY, just made their debut on February 12, 2019 with their maknae being Yuna. Yuna was born on December 9, 2003 and is currently 16 years old.

You’ve probably already noticed that these maknaes have a lot in common! Firstly, all of their visuals are extraordinarily stunning.

Secondly, while they are the youngest of their group, they could all probably pass for the oldest when looking at their mature appearance!

Thirdly, unlike the strong impression they exude, they are actually filled with “aegyo (cute behavior)” and have a silly charm.

Moreover, they all debuted at the young age of 15-16 and are all blessed with remarkable body proportions, with each maknae growing taller each time (Sohee 163cm, Suzy 168cm, Tuzyu 170cm, Yuna 170cm)!
