The MBC drama, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, starring Lee Sung-kyung and Nam Joo-hyuk, has become a favorite series among international fans. In one of the most recent episodes, the line “do you like Messi?” has gone viral all over social media in the Philippines.
The lead female character, Kim Bok-joo tries to start a conversation with her handsome crush, Jung Jae-yia, who also happens to be a doctor. She asks him if he likes Messi, the iconic soccer player, after receiving boy advice from her friend, Jung Nan-hee.
