Kim Jong Kook Has A New Loveline On “Running Man” And The Cast Can’t Stop Teasing Him About It

Running Man cast works hard to make one of Kim Jong Kook‘s many “lovelines” actually work. While his past partners Song Ji Hyo and Hong Jin Young couldn’t shake him, his most recent loveline with actress Seo Eun Soo had him intrigued throughout the show!

 

Seo Eun Soo, who recently became better known from her role in the hit K-Drama My Golden Life, appeared on the latest episode of Running Man as a guest. For partner selection, Kim Jong Kook chose “Queen of Cute Dialect” which was the nickname Seo Eun Soo gave herself.

 

When Kim Jong Kook realized Seo Eun Soo will be his partner for the day, he displayed strong enthusiasm and surprised the other members.

“I’m glad I get to partner with a new face!” — Kim Jong Kook

 

Yoo Jae Suk and others did not miss out on this opportunity to tease Kim Jong Kook about his brand new loveline.

“It is rare that Kim Jong Kook reacts with that much enthusiasm about a partner. He must really like her!” — Yoo Jae Suk

 

Song Ji Hyo also pointed out that Kim Jong Kook and Seo Eun Soo look great together!

 

Haha commented that Seo Eun Soo is actually very close to Kim Jong Kook’s ideal type of woman. Kim Jong Kook, unlike his usual self on the show, shyly agreed.

As Kim Jong Kook couldn’t wipe the big smile off his face, Haha realized Kim Jong Kook’s head is definitely not in the game.

Kim Jong Kook cracked everyone up when Yang Se Chan suggested that the two of them quit the game and go on a picnic together. While the usual Kim Jong Kook would have gotten annoyed, he nicely asked Yang Se Chan to stop making fun of him.

Of course, the cast couldn’t help but make even more fun of Kim Jong Kook’s new found softie side.

Kim Jong Kook claimed, “I’m not the type of person who gets mad though.” This comment had the rest of the cast completely speechless!

 

Lee Kwang Soo, who has endured countless episodes of Kim Jong Kook’s bullying, blew up and shouted, “Who are you kidding?” 

The cast became absolutely chaotic by Kim Jong Kook playing nice.

 

As partners, Kim Jong Kook and Seo Eun Soo kept flirting and made things super interesting for the viewers. He paid attention to her and made sure she is comfortable shooting with the cast.

When Kim Jong Kook helped with the seatbelt, Jeon So Min and Lee Kwang Soo teased him for giving Seo Eun Soo such special treatment.

 

Kim Jong Kook tried to call it off saying he’s too old, but Seo Eun Soo made his heart race by saying age is only a number.

As the new loveline partners get to know each other better throughout the car ride, the peanut gallery sat in the back completely amazed by what a different person Kim Jong Kook had become.
