The term “Witcher”, of course, is most commonly thought of regarding the franchise “The Witcher”, especially the popular Netflix series starring Henry Cavill. It will be interesting to see if the group includes some kind of fantasy or magical themes to their music and concepts to fit their name!

The group was first hinted at back in May 2021 when their label, Blooming Entertainment, opened an Instagram account and with a blank recruitment post asking for auditions from young women who had previous experience in the K-Pop industry. Over the next several months, various trainees were revealed for the upcoming girl group, though some ended up leaving the agency over time until five trainees remained.

Witchers has already released a couple of pre-debut songs: “Song For Overcome”, sung by members Nariu and Saebom, was released in February this year, while they also released an OST for the K-Drama Cinema Club called “Love Letter” in March.

We do know a fair amount about each of the five members of the group, so here’s a little information about all of them!
